84 300D Tubo Timing Chain

What is the recommendation for timing chain replacement on the 300D? I have inspected it for stretch and eveything looks OK. On my 88 SEL it was 100K mi. but the 103 engine uses a single row chain.

There is no required replacement interval for the chain. M/B offers various sizes of offset keys to advance the camshaft when the chain elongates.

However, at a certain point, the wear on the teeth of the sprockets becomes excessive due to mismatch of pitch between the sprocket and the chain. This can cause both the chain and the sprockets to require replacement.

Anything beyond 10* of stretch would be a good time to replace it. How many miles do you have on the car?
