ran some tests
i have done some of the testing already suggested. thanks again for alll your help. i think with your help we are getting it narrowed down. much appreciated. i think with all your
it is winter here in the midwest and i havent been running any wvo since october. i have been running straight winter blend (50% #1, 50% #2) i havent had any gelling problems with the cold. there is no wvo in the fuel system. i also have not used any lye or methynol either. 50/50 WVO, Diesel worked fantastically well for me last summer. im going to try the glow plug testing from dieselgiant.com like suggested. there is alot of great info on that site. im going to try that first because the glow plug light sometimes hasent been working, or it takes a LONG time for it to go out. im also going to try loosening the lines to the injectors and see if fuel is pumping. could a loss of air pressure in the the air compressor system for the air intake be part of the problem. no air getting to the cylinders? |

There is no air compressor, unless you are thinking of the turbo. A fully blocked air filter will cause no air to flow.

thank you for all the info. very much appreciated. dieselgiant.com is a really great website. i did the glowplug test. sure enough. 4 of the 5 are bad. new ones are on order. lets hope that does it.
