Does anybody have one of these in their W124 or W210??

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=120373252119

I'm curious what this looks like installed. Since the 95's don't have a glove box something back in the trunk might come in handy.
Says it's an OEM piece, so I thought somebody might have one.

Hard to tell without a photo of it installed.

With such a long list of cars it'll "fit", I'm guessing it'll not fit.

It would be interesting to know what the Mercedes part number would be of this OEM piece, ... LOL!

True that the lack of glovebox makes organizing things more difficult. I'm pretty partial to the spare-tire cavity for most permanent stuff, the side-pockets in this car could use a nice hinged cover though, that would make it all work better than what this piece appears to be.

Never heard of this thing. Is it supposed to fit in under the speakers in the rear "hat shelf?" I don't quite see how it is supposed to attach. If it really uses Velcro(R) to hang on the fabric liner then it won't take much weight.

I think I bought some of my W123 Hella headlamps from these people so I guess they're OK but not sure of this part.

If it "fits" a W201 trunk I imagine it'll also "fit" the rest as well.....

How much weight can you have in it and still have the trunk lid stay up?

Potomac is a VERY reliable eBay seller and company in general and you can trust every word they post.

I have without problem.

i got one from them a while ago ~~~ had a tough time finding a suitable deck lid liner for a coupe, still looking ~~~ thinking of cutting this and using on the sides of the trunk

instruction sheet which came with it:

s-class (v-220) trunk lid organizer
part number Q 6 75 0025

1) the trunk lid organizer is designed to adhere to the underside of the trunk lid using specialized velcro. use care not to allow the backing strips to touch carpeted surfaces prior to installation

2) open trunk lid on vehicle. align lid organizer as shown in in illustration #1. carefully center trunk lid organizer while maintaining backing several inches away from trunk lid liner. locate lower edge of trunk lid organizer on flat depressed surface of trunk lid liner.

3) carefully move trunk lid organizer torwards trunk lid liner until it touches and begins to attach. open trunk lid organizer pocket lids and use hands to firmly press inner pocket area to ensure even adhesion. in order to insure complete attachment use fingertips tto apply pressure within each pocket and over all backing surfaces and perimeter edges. this completes the installation.

bottom note: manufactured by saratoga technologies inc. charlotte, n.c. for mercedes-benz usa, inc.

Ooh, conflict with the trunk triangle, FAIL.

Made for Mercedes-Benz but no Mercedes part number? We made things for Mercedes-Benz, requirement was for a star and Mercedes part number visible on any part made for Mercedes-Benz. Perhaps this is a dealer accessory and therefore not technically made for Mercedes-Benz (like a jacket for example)?

That is another problem with my '95. They have fabric/insulation on all surfaces inside the trunk. Well, it looks nice and I'm sure has some sound deadening properties. But I cannot install the Euro trunk triangle and bracket that I found in a Euro W124 at PNP the other day!! [Euro W124 had manual AC controls, a manual driver's seat with what looked like lumbar controls on the seat belt reciever and a very unique Becker radio]
So now I have a trunk triangle for the E300 and no way for it to attach!

I would have little interest in that organizer if it velcro's in place. I thought it might hang under the speaker shelf and maybe the velcro held it against the fabric covering the fuel tank.

The trunk triangle fits fine in the late 124, fits fine in my '94.

Cut two rectangles for the triangle's feet at the bottom, and cut out the outline of the clip at the top. Simple to remove the liner to do this, should take about an hour.

The triangle lays flat over the trunk-lid lining.

The fabric over the fuel tank has little support other than it's own stiffness. Not a mounting surface IMO.

I have that in my w210 its attached by velcro. I initially had it on my trunklid, but it always detached. The pockets are small and not too deep.
