There's no "T".... help! help! Are they not called a 300D 2.5? or by '92 did the name change? I swear I've seen a w124 300D with a 2.5 on the right side of the trunk...

I emailed and asked those and more questions. Says by owner, but sure looks like a used dealer showroom.

You're fine. The listing says 92 E300 turbo diesel.

I had one just like this until the rear end got caved in at a stoplight. I did get 36 mpg on the highway.

If this is a 1992 you might want to run a VIN background check on it before you buy. I cannot find anything around here with the VIN of my old car on it, so I am no help there.

There were only about 5,250 of these cars sold over the three years they were sold here and I think most of them were white, though, so it may be OK. I would still run the VIN check, though.

I used to drive between Tulsa and Houston about every ten days. It sure made the miles go by nicely.

By the way, the price looks good. As I recall that was what they paid me for mine when it was totalled out.

Milage ? Verifiable?

Compression check?

Also gsxr's W124 checkoff list

Damn, that sure is a "Cool" color esp.for La Florida.

IF it's it good shape that's a nice price.
