'Miss' in an 86 SDL
About a week ago, I developed a 'miss' in my car. For a while, I've felt that one injector was not working properly, and now, it's obvious that it is probably not working at all.
So, what is the normal way of isolating this injector? I have others to put in should I find the right one. On a gasser, it's easy because you can electronically 'kill' a cylinder, but I cannot find a way to do it on this diesel. As a side note, I am in the process of building an injector tester, but other than pulling and checking each one, I want to R & R the bad one, then get new nozzles. Suggestions? Thanks !!

Sure there is. Use a 17mm wrench and crack open the injector line where it connects to the injector. If there is no drop in rpm or miss, then that injector was not working.
