look in the classifieds for the town you want to stay in, and C-list. Many people have vacation houses for rent right along the water. There's tons of them, and I doubt their usual busy season is 'busy' this year.

Would any members of other MB forums please post this on those other forums? I want to have a big turn out, but am not a member of any of the other forums.

Any interest in those in-hanger photos? I need to get a rough count to the Spruce Goose people.

Thanks

The dismembered (but rebuilt) head for my engine sits about twenty paces from its counterpart under the hood of my 190D. Unfortunately, it is not likely that the two will be rejoined in joyous mechanical matrimony until after the NW GTG. My regards to everyone in attendance, and have fun on my play equipment!

I'm sure it would be OK to attend without an MB. We might ask you to park across the street.

So, how many do we have so far?
If the Museum will allow my wreck in, we`ll go for the photo shoot.

we should be heading north the 10th or 11th, give me time to polish the rust and peely paint . pull the bugs out of the radiator for the show and shine.

You are making the drive up from CA, that's great. Can you tow the benz with the Datsun? I'd love to see that too.

That museum may rethink the photo shoot after the place is full of diesel fumes.

That would be a sight to see. maybe a 4 speed brownie behind the main box we would have enough low end to get started. It`s got 60 tired ponies, but does alright for the miles on it.

I always kid around, when the German Iron craps out, the Jap Tin keeps on going. sometimes it seems like that.

I see everyone braging about how the Bosch starters are the best. believe it or not, I changed out the Datsun starter after 432000 miles. only thing ever done to it was a set of bearings. think I will get it bronzed and mount it on the mantle.

Yeah after the smoke clears out of Museum, it will be all the oil spots from marking our teritory

Wonder if I will get an atta Boy for longest distance? unless DELIVERYVALVE decides to blow past me from Bakersfield. Hey Richard, it is only 5 more hours
