brake issues?

my w201 has barely any brake pedal and is not visably leaking any fluid i have yet to take the tires off and try bleeding the system. But now that spring is in the air here in newengland it will get checked out this week. I was wondering if anyone else has had any issues with their 190's brake system. I think i might need a master cylinder but am hopeing not. Has anyone done a master on their car is it fairly straight forward or made to be a complecated process.

The above problem assuming the Master Cylinder is full of fluid can be caused by the Master Cylinder.
A little over a week ago I replaced my Master Cylinder due to the Pedal almost going to the floor before it started to brake.
Master Cylinders can do that due to worn seals inside or the inside ports being plugged. When the ports are plugged it blocks the filling of the Master Cylinder.
Does you car have ABS Brakes?
