if we want to have a summer one at the beach or something like that im down to organize it if you'd all like.

Im always down for GTG's, even if it is a few of us getting to gether to work on our cars over a few beers.

If y'all want a summer one, express interest.

I wanted to block the parking area off, but it is a county park so it wouldnt be cool with park management (I already ran it by them).

You'd think people would see a whole ton of vintage MB's and think "Hey, these guys are having a car show" and not park their kia in the middle. But you never know, that one idiot thought out cars were volvos....

That brings up a question....did you guys get any of the normal park goers walking by to admire or comment about the beauty of the Mercedes? (Park a Unimog like that somewhere and i'd walk a mile to see it)

Oh well. Some people are just out there! It was good for a while! maybe just rope off some spaces in a row and not the whole lot? We use to park our trucks sideways when someone went on a beer run to save the spots. Or even put coolers and chairs is the spot. Heck I bet I can get my hands on some orange cones for the next meet! Park mgt can be a pita sometimes but sometimes will help alot if asked too. It just depends! No worries! We had a good time despite what the Kia lady said! I'm bringing a flask next one! I make AWESOME jello shots too! LOL!

Alright Alex. How about sometime in May or June?? ....down the shore would be great. It will be less erratic than in a public park, especially like Downey's.

It's gonna be hot no matter what... this is FL, but many times the shore area has a breeze to cool things down unlike in a congested overcrowded public park where the whole town gathers.

Im in Alfie. Lets work on early June?

Titusville might be promising. Ill ask Pierre if he knows of any spots.

We were using trunk triangles to block off spots when we went for a run to the store. It seemed to work. The spot (and triangle) were there when we got back.

No not many people stopped to admire the benzes outside of our crowd. Lets just put it this way, some thought they were volvos. If you dont know what make our cars are then how could you begin to appreciate them?

Sounds good... how about a Saturday morning? From Cocoa Beach to Melbourne would be nice... but it doesn't matter. Having a good photoshoot with better a background would be nice.

I'm bummed that I missed it too.

Hopefully this mysterious car & driver will attend the next GTG.

May I suggest a State Park as a venue (for the Fall)? They're usually big on room and offer the nice vistas for those desirable group photos. http://www.floridastateparks.org/

I've never been there, but this one seems ideally located to draw participants from Tampa: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=lake+louisa+state+park&sll=28.470804,-81.624641&sspn=0.233896,0.433617&ie=UTF8&ll=28.471106,-81.521301&spn=1.813143,3.468933&z=9 and http://www.floridastateparks.org/lakelouisa/default.cfm

its sad that I had to yell at a kid on a skateboard.... parking on the end kinda sucked. people were kinda busy making left turns after looking @ the unimog. lol, it put the fear of god into me. haha. i just watch kia's...

anyone else see that woman in the camry do a 120 degree right turn into the parking space between the 500E & the C230?
lol
epic.

as for another GTG with you guys.
according to blue cross blue shield, I have to maintain a full schedule thru the rest of the year... && since I took winter quarter off, that means I'm going all summer

I would totally be game, and I'll make sure if I'm around i'll be there.
