Throttle spring question
On my 85td i have a small huge problem, the gas pedal will sometimes stay stuck,i have inspected the linkage and see no major flaw,i have also removed and inspected the spring besides the inj pump and it seems pretty springy to me,however the throttle will stay stuck at times, usually when i turn car on,today it did it and revd up to maximum rpms, kind of scared me,can anyone here help?
Gracias

Lubricate all the linkage balls with ATF or anti seize.

Should i disconnect the linkages and then lubricate?

I removed each link and cleaned and then lubed them with white silicone.

Yes, use a flat head screw driver and gently seperate the joints. blast them out with brake cleaner and use atf or white lithium grease.
