HELP....getting water in back floorboard.

Please help! I have water getting in my rear passenger floorboard. I pulled my rear carpet out earlier today. It was sopping wet. I dried the floorboard out and put the carpet in the garage to let it dry out.

We just had a rain storm come through and water is now in the floorboard. A lot of it!!!

I am assuming sunroof drain. What do I need to do to fix this?

Unfortunately I've seen worse. Check the sunroof drains, some recommend plumbing with stiff weed eater line. Also, check under your battery to make sure you don't have a hole there as this is another path. Finally, is your windshield gasket leaking (milky glass at the margins)?

Hopefully a mod will add it here. The 'solution" should always be connected to the "problem".

I had the same problem with water in the rear passenger footwell. Seems to be a common problem a current thread
Please read!! Found the cause of water in floorboard

I used epoxy putty to seal mine but there are other options as in the thread above. Took me several months to find it as the leak is in the engine bay but the water flows under the front carpet to the rear so the front always seems dry.
