Have you checked the Aux water pump? If it is siezed, it will damage the CCU.

The blower fuse is separate from the CCU fuse. Worn motor brushes and/or lack of lubrication can cause the blower motor to draw too much current and blow the fuse.

I put in another fuse and disconnected what i believe to be the aux water pump (electrical connect) thinking that that might be the source of the fuse blowing. The blow came on for about 5 minutes before melting, not really blowing, the strip fuse. Is there a way for me to tell which part, if not all, of the blower motor is causing this?
Also, the CCU seems to respond to some button pushing but everthing is still coming out of the defrost vents. The fan will go low when the low setting is pressed and high when the high setting is pressed so is the air just coming out of the defrost only b/c of lack of vacuum to the pods that control the airflow?

The Aux water pump will fry a CCU before the fuse blows. You may need to replace the blower motor. I had too, as the bearings were shot.

Well i really don't want that to happen considering i just bought this CCU for 100 bucks. How do i ensure that it doesn't happen. How can i be sure that my AUX water pump needs to be replaced?

Can I assume that since the fuse is melting that it's the blower motor that needs to be fixed? Would the aux water pump blow a fuse or just fry the CCU? I have my CCU unplugged until I can be sure that its not the AUx pump. It's making for some cold drives and foggy windows.
