Hi Guys,
I have a 96 E300D, intake manifold tube on top is missing a vacuum hose, where does this hose come from? I need a picture or a diagram please, thank you. Greg |

A picture of where the hose is missing from would help us to help you. There are several to choose from. To begin with, it is on the left (driver's) side or the right? I suspect right because the hoses on the left are underneath. The EGR valve and tuning flaps have hoses that come from vacuum actuators next to the air cleaner (between the bottom of the air box and the block).

Manifold Tube
Hi Jeremy
Thanks for your reply, sending two pictures one of the tube on top of the manifold and the other 2 hoses unattached. Thanks Greg |

Greg, on the firewall just above that nipple there is a vacuum switch (or supposed to be), the hose only needs to be about 6 or 8 inches long.
