Climate Control Problem

Hello,

On my 1999 e300 when I had the climate control on today the left dash vent blew very hot air. While all other vents blew cold A/C air. No matter what I did I could not correct it. This has happened before and today, like then, it cleared itself up. Does anyone have an idea what is happening here? Thanks.

That sounds like it might be a Duo Valve problem.

Located next to the computer box on the right side of engine compartment.

Sometimes a good rap with a screwdriver handle will "fix" it. Kartek did a nice write up dissecting his and repairing it.

I need more screwdrivers in my toolbox! Glad that worked for you.
