Spring

Hunter,

Does it have an individual part # ?

'Cause I'm looking @ a Polish automotive website and they've got a whole page
of springs.

The MB number corresponds to Bosch #1 414 610 008 and has green light on the Bosch online cat.

To answer "compress ignite", here are the part numbers again.

This is great info. I'm wondering if Mr. Roy ever got anywhere with the tech specs on the springs.

It would be nice to put a mic on them and at least get the wire diameter, coil diameter and uncompressed length.

"Sealed" Non-serviceable Overflow valves.

EDIT: Spring found

THEY HAVE A PLASTIC INSERT and a ridiculously small SPRING!!!

Garbage!!!

Own a Mercedes OM60X.XXX engine? You have the same trash on the side of your I.P. !

Oliver Dis-Assembled his and this is what he found:

Fuel injection pump starvation with a good lift pump

No plug needed.

You will need to prime the injection pump when done.

Does anyone actually tried a valve form a 123 or 126 on a W210 606 engine as suggested?
Cheers.
I got some studdering at high speed, but the DV is as old as the car, then I would need to start there, but I am wondering if I could get a cheap alternative non return valve first to see if it work. Tinkering a bit...
Cheers.

It is a pressure relief valve, not a one way valve.
The older valve can be repaired = spring stretched, and will fit many of the newer OM60x injection pumps.

If you have no Hand Primer on your Fuel Supply/Lift Pump the Pressure Relief/Overflow Valve has a tiny hole in it try to bleed the Air out.

The 617 Valves do not have that feature; a Ball Bearing closes the opening.

Cheers Wunter,
then the 123 valve would be OK.
I see if I can get one some time see what would happen.

Can anyone supply a new valve? I have friends back at school who can easily measure the spring rate of a new spring. That along with some basic measurements and we should be able to find an easily accessible new spring.
