with an engine removal?should they be pulled together?,if so,then what size engine hoist is recommended?this is a 617 btw...

2ton does the job. Doing it together makes it easier but you will need to get the ass up in the air pretty high to hit the angle right.

You're looking at less than 1000lbs ,and use an engine tilter.It'll slide right out of there!
