Time to replace Boost hose.....

Got a split in a boost hose, temporarily patched to keep it on the road.......

Does anyone make a good aftermarket silicon hose with a fluro liner for a 98 E300 TD?

Or should I just stick with factory parts?

Oh and in case it matters this is the hose on the "hot" side of the intercooler.

Dimensions? I'm unfamiliar with the "boost hose". Do you mean a large connector or the small wastegate hose? A wastegate hose can be replaced with goodyear fuel injection hose(viton lined)

#191?

No, its the one that connects from the hard tube(183) to the intercooler(ie the "hot" side of the intercooler).

Forgive me if my terminology is off, Nissan calls it a boost hose, or a turbo hose, Jeep calls it CAC(charge air cooler) hose.

I haven't used them, but I have heard good things.

The sell some Silicone Hoses on Ebay. But, you will need to know what ID you are looking for.

I believe the boost hose he is talking about is a single long rubber piece, so finding one on eBay that fits would be improbable.

The best bet is to get an OEM hose from your local dealer.

Those type of things are just generic coupler peices, what I am talking about is a OEM duplicate type of hose, similar to this one for a Jeep Liberty CRD:

This seems to be the way I will be going.

yes, this is true, I was just hoping to find a set of hoses for similar cost to one oem replacement. plus, a cheaper solution would be nice, realistically I don't see owning this vehicle for another 10 years.
