Not a drop of anything on the ground either. Norm is the only other diesel I've had that didn't mark his territory.

As for my shopping habits, I look on craigslist almost daily and get leads. I look at plenty of dogs, like this one:

Got a hot lead today

and this one: (though its borderline, I really liked it)

I think I need to rescue this one too...

This wagon was on craigslist, but I missed because the seller chose to abbreviate Mercedes into MERZ, so it didn't pop up when I would search "mercedes"
Gotcha. Must be better pickings because I'm browsing CL and Bargain News on a daily basis, especially looking for misspelled and miscategorized listings. I'll have to add MERZ to my keywords.

I love the VDO ones as well.
I'm installing this one in my CD tomorrow. I think it has a similar look to a McIntosh:

I saw this at Crutchfield too. It says it won't fit, but the dimensions look like it would work. It's $299 though and I didn't want to risk buying it and it not fitting. I think the worst case would be needing to fabricate your own faceplate.

I love the retrosounds, but can't justify spending that much money.

That retrosounds is a bit *too* retro for a W123 IMO

How about Reliant, since I'm going to unleash the Genesis Time bomb on it?

I was out of town from Friday until today, and was greeted with dry concrete underneath my new wagon, and a non-saggy rear.

It just needs a name!

Looks like you've blown out your Photo bucket account. Your sig pic has an ominous message about bandwidth being exceeded.
You've rejected our names back out to half court so sounds like you're on your own on this one.
Dry concrete!!! Priceless!!!

Hmmm... Is it fixed now? I can't loose my pictures.

Bruiser, Quark, Cliff, Reliant... none of them are clicking.

How about Ol' Trigger? Makes no sense whatsoever, but I like it.
