mercedes 300 td 4 speed conversion
Hi,i`m about to install a 300 d turbo 1983 engine onto a 240 d 1983 4 speed manual,i would like to know if there is anybody out there that have done the same,and if is viable,and what kind of result they had.

Some people have experienced vibration problems at certain RPM's.. but the cause has not usually been found ...so it could be a different source for each...
Use a 300 flywheel if you can get it. This combo is often more viable than getting the old MB AUTO trans fixed but is not the perfect solution . Take care with the driveshaft modifications.
