W210 E300TD running on when key out

A couple of times recently the engine has idled on for another 1/2 a second before shutting down, triggering a notice on the dashboard (engine electronics or such).

Before I buy a new fuel cutoff valve, is there anything else to consider? It did it today, and the ECU decided that I couldn't have a turbo as well :/ Presumably some kind of limp home mode, although I had all the gears.

Check for any fuel leaking at the SOV connection to the IP. A failing oring sometimes causes a delayed shutdown.
