thanks went thru all the functions. still no blower. i am going to swap the controller and if that doesnt fix it i will probably just sell the car.

Stupid question, does the compressor engage?

there is not enough freon in the system to engage the clutch. i have been working on the heater system. i am just trying to get blower to move some air.

I assume you are doing this in defrost? Did you check the tstat sensor? I am not so familiar with w126.

You need to get a voltmeter and start checking the wiring. I found a bad wire going from the CCU connector to the blower.

Other things to look at are

1) Replace the blower fuse

2) Replace the "KLIMA" relay in the fuse box.In the 300SD it is a small cube relay.

3) Replace the relay under the dash for the blower.

Why don't you run jumper wires to the blower to check its condition ?
