123 armrest question

There is probably a better place (theoretically) to post this but this is where most folks who might know the answer hang out.

I have an 83 euro 300d seat which has no armrest and an 83 us spec seat with an armrest, can I unbolt the armrest from the us seat and bolt it onto the euro seat?

..I also have a 427 Cobra replica with an aluminum chassis.

You can feel through the seat material if there is a bolt hole in euro seat. I switched a passenger back rest to the driver side and it had a bolt hole.

Yeah, I have felt that before. So there is a bolt in the armrest that can be backed out and the armrest applied to another seat?

Sounds good.

Thanks very much!

IIRC, there is a bolt sticking out of the arm, with a nut. I believe you need to remove the seat back to gain access.

To remove the arm rest, remove the seat back cover on the back. One screw and slide down the cover. Remove the nut holding the armrest. Check the back of the euro seat for the mounting hole and pin (up/down stop). You also could switch entire seat back.
