OK so just got done putting togeather the front brakes, I think I figured out whay the wear was uneven. One of the pads got stuck to the caliper so only one pad pas pressing against the rotor. The left side was even, but I replaced the pads anyway. I could not believe when at Autozone they told me Duralast brake pads have lifetime warranty, they replace them for free unless they are worn metal to metal...

Correct my '87 has them. I just changed the pads and they wore evenly. They updated the sensors from one side to both sides on some of the 124s. Maybe that is why, uneven wear.

Make sure you use fine emery paper to polish the slid pins and use correct (high temp brake lube) on them (the pins). When you place it back together.
