I don't use any additives in my diesel except 2-3 bottles of the Redline Diesel Catalyst a year just for its de-watering abilities.....I have run the cetane booster before and it does make it idle smoother and boosts power a little bit (maybe 3-5% when you use a lot of it).....but its not remotely worth the $$. I will do a "purge" by running it off a 32oz bottle of Mystery oil every couple years....and that's about it. Runs fine without additives.

In our gasser I have found its quite a crack addict for the Redline Fuel system cleaner. I ran it for about 10 tanks and the car ran awesome, imperceptible idle.....quick starts and re-starts, good mpgs....good power.....then I stopped running it for 4-5 tanks....idle got slightly more noticeable....power went down....mpg's went down.....starts got more difficult.....its crazy. So I went back to it on the most recent tank, and its back to its old self, runs great. Its an addict. I ordered a 12 bottle case of the stuff from Amazon to keep it happy. Gassers.....
