Need Help installing euro bumper

Hi all,
found a used euro bumper at the junkyard. Where does it mount on a car that came with US bumpers? Is there a lot of modification required?

No real modification, it is bolt on however the rubber surrounds are smaller and to do it properly you need a paint job and some body work to fill the holes in the back where the Federal bumper rubber surround mounts.

I just used some rubber plugs to fill the leftover bolt holes and the paint came clean with a good pressure wash.

Yes, it's a 85 300TD W123. The bumper mounts with three mounting points (US), but the euro one only has two on each side?

There is no special bracket needed for the conversion? Do you just take the US spec shock off and then they bolt right up? I have found a good rear bumper.

I thought I'd heard in the past that there was a different bracket.
