Hi changing my droopy wagon struts on my '84 w123 wagon. Are the nuts t40 12pts.? Anyone know before I strip them accidentally -thanks!

I used XZN M8. Or M10. Point is, it was XZN. Still had to use a hammer to make sure it was all the way when (almost stripped it when I didn't).

found a m8 12 pt. First tapped in to seat, removed, heated and inserted 12 pt and it loosened perfectly. I did not re-loctite as I see no reason too and who knows how long these struts last anyway -
