seat switch confusion...

Ok, I got some used seat switches and installed them. They do not work the correct functions.
The seat tilt, is running the back of the seat. What did I do? or what needs to be done? Also the seat is out new to the 82 from the 85. Is it a wire issue on the bottom of the seat?

Any drawings?
thanks
Doug

Just change the wires on the switch to keep things like original. Or you can switch the pins in the seat connector.

In my '82 the wires are soldered in, but I believe later years use a plug on the switch. Maybe they changed the pin layout at the same time
