Benz Data Book

I found that you can buy the Technical Data Book online off the Mb web site . The site says it is 400 to 600 hundred pages . The book costs $30 . Is this a book worth having around or not ?

I have the April 1985 edition, covering models 107, 123, 124, 126, and 201. It's a good source of information for different car versions, for looking to see whether another car has a different differential ratio that you might adapt, for settling arguments over torque specs. Perhaps its best feature is that it covers a broad range of models so that you can answer questions about models that you don't own.

There are a lot of little tidbits in the Technical Data Manual which are not in the various shop manuals. Certainly more than 30 bucks worth.
