Windows on my wagon

Hi all, I have a 300TDT (1987) and the rear windows stopped working. The drivers side has no power to the plug and the passenger side has power but will not go up and down. Not sure if the problems are related. The fuses are good, the front work fine and the switches are good as I have a couple new ones I tried. Does anyone know if I can do a continuity test from the front switch to the door switch? If so what pins would or should give continuity? Also will regulators from a 1990 300E fir my 87?

Hold the switch down while swinging the door open/closed, common failure is the wiring in the hinge area.

What he said. I found mine broken in the rubber sleeve that goes from the door to the b pillar. My driver side was broken, so far the passenger side is OK.

OK I will certainly try that, Thanks. If anyone know what wires to check from the front switches to the rear, That would be great.
