Question For Forced Induction:

I like your remote mounted air intake...the one I think you refer to as a 'California' item??? I have long wanted to get the air cleaner off of the engine on my 617.950, but I am at a loss for a way to do it cleanly and still preserve the attachments for the breather and vacuum pump tubes.

Any suggestions???...Robert

The Kalifornia air filter system is bolt in except for drilling 4 screw holes and modifying the intake tube for height.

Yes, trouble is, in the 116.120, I have a big ugly battery where the air cleaner resides on your car...Robert

Then you have no way to install the Kali air system, you're stuck with the stock UFO housing.

It would be helpful if you'd at least put what car you have in your signature.

Yeah, amazing how such a simple thing can slip the mind for 4/8 years even though 90% of the other members have it.
