96 E300 vibration

It's a 96 E300 94000 miles, When idling in park, drive, and reverse position you can feel vibration. But when it is in neutral no vibration. Thanks in advance guys!

Collapsed motor mounts would be a good diagnosis. How many miles on the vehicle?

On mine it was the rear tranny mount. Can be a bear to see the condition, as it wasn't until I removed it that I could see it was totally collapsed .

Good luck!

They can be measuered from top most rim to structural member above. 17mm new, 13mm collasped. Use a scoket with correct OD as a feeler gauge.

Usually felt in seat of pants and steering wheel in gear while stopped.
