1987 300 TD Trans Issue and Window Issue

Hello everyone.
1987 300 TD Wagon
The door locks had been slow to unlock sometimes, taking 3 or 4 seconds to unlock and that child safty button didn't work and both rear window switches on the CC and the doors would not operate the rear windows. CC switches felt stiff so I thought they had probably had children apple juice spilled in the CC. Tech said he'd look at it.

Well my car was in for oil change, Left Front ball joint R&R, Differential bushing R&R and the tech said that the trans was shifting hard so he would adjust the vacuum modulator. (He then takes his daughter to Brazil for 3 or 4 weeks.)

Car worked fine for 1 week, since then the trans is sometime OK and at other it shifts very late under easy acceleration 2500 or 3000,it usually shifts at 2000 rpm, sometime 2nd to 3rd 3000 rpm to 3500 rpm and the same with the 3rd to 4th shift.
Other times it will not shift to 4th. Other times it will go to 3500 in 3rd and then as you think it is shifting to 4th the revs will drop to 500 and the trans is in 'no gear', just coasting. The rpm will react to the gas pedal bu it just feels like it is in nuetral.
I stop the car and put it into park and back to D and the same thing happens drive away , sometimes it stays in 2nd, sometimes it stays in 3rd and sometimes the deal with the rev drop in 4th. Totally random.

Window issue: After I picked the car up all of the window switches worked except the child safety lock out switch.
Now the first time I lower the RR window half way I hear a screeching sound and raise the window, it goes up but now won't stay in the up position, it drops about 1 in'. Just won't stay up.

Any ideas and or speculation is welcomed.

Thanks in advance for your help and input.

Bernie

Air/vacuum leak in door-lock system.

Window came off of track / bolt loose / track loose.

CCU switches have had beverages spilled in them.

Transmission might be toast, try checking modulator pressure / adjusting modulator
