I cant wait months!! The race is on!!!
Sam, I was joking about waiting a few months . . . I'm selling my gmc truck, then gonna buy a MB . . . I didn't want you to scoop up a good deal down here, and not leave anything for me . . .

There down here . . . maybe not euro's but . . . so come on down to the desert! Bring some water!

I'm thinking from what I've gathered is $2-$2.5k is a decent price for one in good condition . . .

good time to buy

Hey guys.....the used, old car market is a little soft; it's a great time to be buying. There are some deals to be had out there........

Just remember the saying around here:
"A cheap Mercedes is an expensive one" --- deals with one that has not had the routine maintenance performed over the past 25-30 years.

Good Luck and if I can help, please PM me.

The deals certainly are better out that way than they are around here! For $900 I'd keep the GMC and get the benz!

Only thing that scares me though is a car that needs "TLC". We are talking about a vehicle that would have to drive from Arizona (or the Southwest) back to Upstate NY! If I'm gonna have to have it on a tow bed, I'd rather make it the whole trip then half of it because of a blown water pump, oil pump etc.

100% correct. Unfortunately people in my area think because it has a three pointed star, even if its completely rusted out its worth a million. Literally. The prices here are ridiculous.
