Question about w201 heater
Were does the vaccum line that comes from the heater valve go?
And from where is it drawing vaccum? Thanks in advance guys!

It's been a good while since I repaired one but I believe that the red line going to the heater valve can be traced back to the climate control distribution block that controls the rest of the vaccuum pods in the climate control. That distribution block is behind the glove box. Expose it and disconnect the solid red line and pull vaccuum on it to see what happens. If it holds then your problem is in the controls, if it leaks your problem is with the valve or the line going to it. If you are trying to turn the heat off there is a potentiometer under the dash that has to be seen by the climate control before it switches the heat off.
