The Dons SDL VS Fulcrum525's SDL

From another thread a little argument has arose that should be put to vote by the community. Both of our SDL's are quite unique....which do you feel is more rare and which would you rather have?

Fulcrum525
1991 350 SDL (875 for made in 1991)
Rod-bending 3.5 is out and has the better 3.0 with #22 head
Uber rare Blackberry metallic paint (481 Bornite)
Updated Cream Leather Interior
French Euro headlights and corners with proper wiper assembly

The Don's Interior

Meh, I'd buy yours if I had the cash and if you were selling just so I'd have both.. lol

The 1987 300SDL Formerly owned by Hatterasguy
Uber Rare Anthracite Grey Interior( ahem, original)
16" Milla Miglio Bello wheels
Working everything
Bosch Euros ( proper wiper setup on order)

no pics of the interior at the moment( pics here http://www.peachparts.com//shopforum/showthread.php?t=243416)
Did I mention, everything mechanical has either been refreshed or replaced by hatterasguy and I am continuing to do the same. I even have new fuel hardlines on
order and other plated parts on order.

I need paint too, but the interior is.. minty.

Having driven both of them, I can say that I like the color of the '91 better than the '87 and I prefer the interior of the '91 better than the '87. Furthermore the paint on the '91 is in better condition than the '87.

Both drive quite good..........I don't notice any benefit one versus the other.

Its known fact, I drive pos cars.. I guess the SDL is just a parts car...Sometimes I do wish I had a leather interior though. But thats only when I forget my allergy meds for the day..

That's hardly a parts car. You might want to call it a parts car because it has about $15K in new parts..........but, that's your call.

My old car is in far better mechanical shape than yours. Yours has a nicer body, but a none original engine.

Interior wise yours is slightly better, but not by that much. With paint and some new trim my old car would be pretty close to yours cosmetic wise.

Leather vs cloth is a personal choice, I liked the cloth. Its also probably a one off.

Blue is my favorite color, but again thats personal choice.

But really WGAS.

Mechanically mine is actually pretty good (Got a couple things on the list to do but overall nothing is really broken) I finally realized that the shaking in the steering is coming from the crappy tires that I have on there right now....

I adored that interior when I saw it, I always figured the first time I would see something like it would be in Europe so I was pleasantly surprised.

I just bust your balls all the time because I wanted to see you clean it up. Now The Don has that job. Either way its kinda ironic that two of the rarest SDL's ever made had the opportunity to be parked side-by-side.

Gotta say, I do like the lights/paint color/interior combination of Fulcrum525's car....I am partial to that interior. Both of my cars have it!

I think I would take which ever one I had the best chance of getting away with.
