Intake Manifold Cleaning in a Parts Washer?
 

My OM602.911 intake manifold is full of gunk and I was hoping to clean it in my parts washer. I am using a water-based degreaser kind of like simple green mixed with water in a 20/1 ratio. I am not confident that this will be very effective. Should I fill the parts washer with a solvent like mineral spirits mixed with a small amount of transmission fluid? TIA for any suggestions
