Serious throttle questions..

So I am working on a 1981 240D with a manual transmission. The car needed attention because of a dead IP. I got the car with the IP and throttle linkage removed. I am having the IP rebuilt and am preparing to put it back in, here is the thing...I have set the motor to 26BTDC to reinstal the IP, that seems easy enough....the trouble is the linkage for the throttle is COMPLETELY apart, why I dont know, but I need to get it correctly back together. Any pics, or diagrams would be a treat..wish me luck, the thing hasnt ran in three years.

It looks like you and I are on the same mission. I just got my 81 240D cranked after sitting for six years. I just went out and took some pictures of the linkage I just got threw putting back together.

Dave, I keep meaning to get up with you and come over some time. I've just been swamped these past couple months.

Looks like you, MBJoe and I are pretty close to one another. We should get together for lunch one weekend and talk MBz.

Thanks MBJOE! I hope to see your car driving around soon, not enough red 123s if you ask me. I had two springs in the bucket..any clue where they go? I assume one hooks to the IP...

Talking

Well heck when I replied to the post I didn't notice how close you we were to each other. As for the brew, I went threw a couple just getting the engine started. Come by Tomorrow because I still have to get the clutch working. Reverse bleeding always causes me a PITA. I have already pumped the brake pedal 25 times and still no pedal pressure.
