73 Dodge 4X4 Mercedes Diesel - $800 (Laramie Wy)
Date: 2009-04-23, 7:18PM MDT

73 Dodge W100 four wheel drive truck repowered to OM617 MB 5 cylinder mechanically injected diesel with MB 4 speed automatic transmission. All engineering done and vehicle was running except oil line came off and engine seized- new engine is included in sale! Otherwise truck is in decent shape 4X4 works (especially with the 4 recent super swampers on it that are included). Great easy fix project for anyone needing a 4 wheeler, wood truck, trash truck etc. Usually gets 21-31 mpg! Clear title ready to go! Any further questions please call Quincy at 307-399-9987.

* Location: Laramie Wy

A real Daimler-Chrysler!

Daimler-Chrysler at it's best...
I winder how that heavy thing gets 31mpg witht he tires it is spinning -- more likely 13mpg I think

The transfer case in the old Dodge is s New Process 203. It can work with just about any transmission...

Since the safe top speed of a truck like that is about 55-60mph....I bet 25-30mpg could be possible.

I doubt a vehicle with that much aerodynamic drag could achieve 31mpg......

From the general condition of the car I doubt any of the instrumentation works.

I thought that was just a pile of parts on the hood to complement the parts bin interior.
