I've had problems with reinstalling the rear seats on both of my SDLs and I found that the problem was apparently someone had tried too hard to push the seat down, and it was not in the proper position.
It had bent slightly the edge of where the slotted pin goes, and the wire just did not have enough play to reach. In fact, on one side, I noticed that the pin in the floor pan was slightly pushed in.

Once I adjusted the sheet metal and the pin height, it clicked in normally.

I find that sitting on the seat, then forcing the red tab / clips over works well.

Best I can tell by the axle rotation.........it does have ABS.
