Used AC Parts question.
 
I have a question -- I need ac now. I put new ac compressor and all components on a car about 3 years ago. That car has now been sitting for 1 year since the motor siezed. The new owner drove it without motor oil. My question is should I harvest those parts from that car for cheap or should I get all new stuff again?

If the system still holds a charge, go for it.

Absolutely harvest those things... but when you take them apart keep everything clean and seal up the hoses and ports with plastic and rubber bands .... double layers...
Sure will be easy to do a good flush with while they are out looking at you...
