Thumbs up

Ebay?

thats where I found both of my parents

both were certified pre owned, and the parentals also purchased the extended warr ontop of the balance.

no "Major" issues yet.
'05 E320CDI
leaky injector at approx 20K
power trunk closer problem
CD Changer door failed once
headlight socket problem

'06 E320CDI
Transmission felt weird while accelerating ~ Software update fixed
again, power trunk closer problem
rear sunshade on pano sunroof malfunctioned

having the full set of window shades is nice, as well as heated steering wheel

wish they didn't have the power trunk closers, and only if the '05 had Xenons

the parktronic on a car that size is annoying.

Mom didn't like the ML CDI at all, hence traded for a GL that we LOVE

You need specialized equipment to do many DIY's...SDS reads most of the codes and is necessary to reset a lot of the electronics. If you are a DIY type you are better off going with a W210 or W124 diesel.

2005 and 06's had the SBC braking system, which requires special care when changing brakes (i.e. do not open or close doors as it will cycle the SBC Pump)...
