Do these models have cabin air filters that should be changed? I can't find any reference to them in my FSM CD ROM.

No filter for cabin. They only first started showing up in 1994 on the 124s iirc.

Would it be possible to retrofit one? I find it interesting my 1991 Jetta had one but Mercedes flagship didn't

I looked at a 126 that had 'em, between the two fire walls IIRC.
