Where can I find a breather hose/grommet for W124 300D?

None of the usual suspects seem to carry it.

I am looking for the hose that connects the valve cover to the tube that comes from the filter housing.

This is all anybody can come up with:

I got mine from **********. Part number 603 010 03 70 $22.95.
FastLane (click on Buy Parts link above) also has the same part for $24.75 and they support this forum so it's nice to give them some of your business.

Thank you very much.

I just ordered it and the grommet from FastLane.

Do you recommend removing the valve cover to remove the grommet?

I already had to do this once when bits of the elbow for the hose broke off into the valve cover when I tried to remove it but I was hoping to avoid it.

I didn't remove the valve cover. The old grommet was hard and I knew it would fall apart so I held a vacuum cleaner hose close to it while gradually prying it up and pulling pieces out with a pair of fine-nosed pliers. I was able to remove most of it that way and the vacuum got the bits that flaked off.
