You probably don't need to go faster than 75 mph anyway. At that speed your engine is already really wound up high.

Yeah, agreed! I don't drive it that fast - usually keep it around 65 - 70, maybe 72, on the highway. I just wanted to get the cruise working "right"...

I've never had a cruise control that worked right or for that matter even worked in a 123. I've got more important priorities on my 300D, like getting the A/C working.
