As a civilian Federal employee I work with the men and women in uniform at lot. They are the absolute cream of the crop that this country produces.
I have the utmost respect and admiration for all our men and women who serve our country.

We all must remember that this thin line of people are all that keeps the wolves at bay.


My thoughts and prayers go out to those standing perpetual guard over us all

After a couple of delays, my dad (87 years old) had his triple bypass and valve replacement. The surgery was over on Thursday evening around midnight. I'm very happy to report that he has come through with flying colors. I just left the hospital and he has had his catheter and all his lines removed and is walking in the hallways asking when he can go home. So my WWII vet marches on. Happy Memorial Day!
