window motor 86 SDL
 

Hey kids,
Long time no post as my old RELIABLE 86 SDL has been a PEACH!
This Peachparts.com is new?

Anyhoo, I was on the road yesterday and just put up the drivers window when I heard a POP!

Tried to re-open it and got a grinding noise while dropping a couple inches and then nothing but a whirring sound!

I can push it closed and it stays.

I am assuming the gear on the motor took a crap but would prefer to hear from someone who's had a similar expereince so I buy the right part and am armed prior to tearing into it!

Are all the motors the same or does each door have its own motor/ gear ect.?

I see s few on e-bay but will wait for some feedback prio to bidding.

Any an all reply's will be greatly appreciated.
