Why is it so hard to find a 220D service manual?

I have the manual for the OM 615 for my 220D stepchild, but it's damn hard to find the service manual for the body and chassis.

Anybody got one? As long as it isn't in Chinese, I can probably get through it.

BTW have they changed the URL of the MBUSA classic center for ordering CDs or manuals?

I see no 220D in your sig, is this a W123? Did you try MBUSA?

It's a 1973 220D which I recently purchased, along with a 1970 2CV truckette, a 1963 Citroen DS19 and a 1959 Borgward Isabella TS coupe.

I have too many cars for the signature block, sorry.

In the meantime, I still need the body, chassis and everything but engine manual for the 220D aka W115 with OM 615 engine.

When I had my 220d I used my old Chiltons which showed earlier engines and the 12 240d book which showed later engines.

Between the two we always got it done. IIRC I also own a cd which I bought for my indie to use which is actually devoted to the 115 chassis.
