I have just one more question, do the intake and exhaust valves have different clearences ?
PS: I dont think it could get compressed or crumpled much, (the pice of plastic I used to wedge in there) becouse it was used just flat anyways maybe it did so I ordered some feeler gauges and a offset woodrough key too from the fourm becouse the marks dont align exacly and I will get a new diaphram too which I asked dimo for avalability (sold agent for benz in srilanka and no they dont do parts for w115's any more and they dont have tools "feeler gauges")and they said they have just two so me and my dad will have to take a long 6 hour trip down to colomo and back but its worth if everythng goes well with the smoking jeremy Last edited by pixelsblack009; 06-03-2009 at 11:53 AM. |

My response was to the other Members comment concerning other countries and the ability to get what a person might need to fix the car in that country. I used the Philippines as an example as I spent 60 days there with my Inlaws who are not at all wealthy.
The last sentance ment that no matter where you are in the world at some point your car is going to cost too much to fix due to wear or damage. As an example if my Engine and Transmission went bad it would most likely be more economical for me just to buy another used Car and forget about the fixing the old one.
