Snook, 35-38 degrees!!! We're going to have to talk some more. I was only putting out 58 while moving and then about 60-65 while at idle. I didn't sweat but it didn't freeze me either.
Yeah, whats this about a video? Alex, I haven't ever seen your tint, the windows were always down. |
I would doubt any w123 has seen 35 degrees out of the vents in 90+ temps.
but if it's true, dayum.... |

In town or in traffic it hovers around 45 to 50 out the vents. I just got it going the day before the GTG. I was not expecting it to be that good! It actually dropped down to 35 degrees on the way home going down 192 when I waved good bye you guys. When i kick the fan up on high or it would rise up to about 38 to 40. I'm really glad that it works so good, because that dark blue makes the car really hot when you first get in the car (if you know what I mean). Someone just pointed out that I may have a 126 Aux. fan on my car? Are the Aux. fans on the 85 a different size than the others? I was wondering why all the other 123's I saw at the GTG had such small Aux. fans? Either way that would only make a difference while in traffic or stopped. On another note, I did spend over an hour last Friday removing the Aux. fan, straightening the fins on the condenser with a small screwdriver, cleaning the coil and putting new pipe insulation on all the "cold lines" under the hood. |
i second a meet for december or one of the next 3 months thereafter
|
I plan on tinting the 350 a bit.

lol now you guys see why I dont do summer stuff... Celebration Exotic Fest is the latest car show of the year when its still tolerable.

Ok.... This is for all the non believers...:D
These pictures are taken with the Climate Control wheel set to Min. but NOT in the detent. I also have my recirc. damper safety wired open because I have not repaired that particular vacuum element yet. So, these readings are with air coming in from outside. The first readings were 35 to 37 degrees cruising down the road at anything over idle speed. It is 92 degrees outside here today. The second reading was taken in my drivway a few minutes later at idle and with the Aux. fan running. Those readings were between 51 and 54 degrees at the same outside temp. Several people I have talked to now say that this Aux. fan is off a different car. I did not realize that until the GTG. It looks larger than the ones on the other 123's. I'm still uncertain about this.
