I sent an e-mail to Orlando Speed World last week asking if we could use there drag strip. I was told to call Randy Weisinger someone give the guy a call and see if we can set something up for our next GTG.
http://orlandospeedworld.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=56

Kevin,

Call Randy Weisinger

407-257-1669

Hello my name is Kevin Murphy
I am part of a Mercedes club we meet up 2 times a year in Orlando.
I thought it would be very cool to be able to use yalls drag strip to run our cars on during our GTG Saturday or Sunday.
I was wondering what it would take make something like this to happen?
Thanks
Kevin Murphy

Easy now
I thought it would be cool to be able to do something like that.
I think my 220D would do just fine up against a 240D

Nope.... But, I'll be there. I still need to charge the A/C, replace the front rotors and replace a tail light.

Screw it... I'll worry about it next week.

That would be awesome to meet at that drag strip. I have been wanting to do that since I got the car.

I brought the SDL to the 1/8th mile in lakeland and trapped a 10.5 second 0-60 lol

this was on a properly prep'd track with the tar stuff they put down, tires at 50 psi, etc..

where are we eating in celebration? I like the marketplace.. someone should find a place and call ahead.. we do need a head count

also, when I'm taking pictures of the cars rolling on the road don't look at me unless I signal for you to do so
