Its always great going into work the next morning with cuts and scrapes alllll over your hands and answering all the questions (good reason to buy mechanic gloves). I've dropped more wrenches on my head than I can count, the worst was probably when I was loosening up my transmission mounts the damn flex bar slipped out of my hands and hit me in the eye. Thank goodness I was wearing glasses, I wouldn't doubt losing my vision from that one considering the amount of PB blaster, rust, loctite, and dirt on that thing.

I guess i've been really lucky. Sometimes I'll get minor scratches while working on the car but thats about it. Never hit myself with a wrench or anything...

Dealing with about 15,000 pissed off bee's though....that can lead to pains in places you didn't even know you had

Part of the reason I liquidated most of the fleet. At this point in time I'm Mercedesless, which actually may mean more work.
I did pick up a 98 Beetle TDI which "needs a little work" The check engine light was actually an easy fix.
I'm getting tired of fixin stuff too and need a break. May come back to it, may not.

well, the 6.9 is home. Turns out somebody didn't tighten a brake line enough.

I just finished up re-booting my CV axles and replaced my diff mount....went pretty smoothly.....didn't hurt myself aside from one small scratch! Yeah!

I did find a horrifying rear-brakes situation though, looks like new rotors/pads/calipers/parkingbrake cables/parking brake shoes/brake fluid are in my real near future. Each caliper has one seized piston...each the opposite of the other. Fun. I know what I'll be spending a Saturday on in a couple weeks....
